“Long hair does not necessarily mean, it’s healthy hair! A lot of people get this confused!” – Jas McQueen 😝
3 words to Healthier Hair…TRIM YOUR ENDS!!! A lot of people miss this very important step for maintaing a healthy head of hair. Time goes by, you do your hair everyday, and you don’t even notice the brittle ends until its so bad, you can’t manage it. Trust me, Im guilty of this! I literally was about to do a “wash n go” on my hair and saw my ends. I immediately shook my head in disbelief. Like, How did my ends get this bad!!

Look at those ends smh!! Its very clear where my hair needs trimming. The key to trimming your own hair is making sure you are comfortable with going shorter than you originally thought lol! You should not be able to see through your ends. If you are able to see through the bottom of your hair, its very possible a trim is needed. Trimming your hair gets rid of split ends and decreases hair shedding. Always remember this, healthy hair should always trump long hair!
Look how uneven my hair was!! After my “trim” was done, I ended up cutting off about 4-6 inches!! Crazy right!! But my hair looks soo much fuller!! I noticed that my curl pattern was more defined after my trim! I guess those damaged ends were weighing my curls down lol. Watch the YouTube video above to see how I got the results below!
